While my career now is in digital marketing and social media management, I’ve held various positions since I was 14 years old. Below you’ll find details about my past jobs and experience.
Hachette Book Group
I started my career at Hachette in the online advertising department as a Web Publicist. Eventually, I moved into the Nashville Division where I worked as an Online Marketing Associate and then Online Marketing Manager. I was responsible for online marketing – social, web, and email – for books across three imprints. I worked with New York times bestseller authors in multiple genres, including fiction, politics, religion, and memoir.
Barnes & Noble
I spent several years (in two states) working in retail with Barnes & Noble. As a lead bookseller, my expertise lay in children’s and YA books. I was trained also in café, cashier, and highly skilled with customer service. I received multiple ‘exceeds expectations’ reviews.
Camp Redwing
For six summers, Girl Scout camp was my life. I began as a Handy Person in the kitchen, spent one season as an Animal Aide at the barn, and then moved to the pool. The rest of my time was wet and (mostly) sunny: Lifeguard, Assistant Waterfront Director, and Boating Director.
